Pros
Some good coffee, some good food, decent/good base pay based on experience
Cons
Owner doesn't care about the coffee. They can afford good quality beans but don't care about consistency or quality assurance. Only cares about aesthetics, which leads to inconsistent/absent leadership in terms of dress code and other matters. Ingredients for syrups and other speciality drinks are top quality and expensive but for no good reason, leads to things being overpriced. Every store is different with no care for consistency, revolving door of staff makes that a nightmare. Some stores insanely busy and understaffed while others are in purgatory. Incredibly discouraging for anyone really passionate about coffee. If you want to just get the salary bump then sure, but if you go to a busy store buckle up to be overworked, or be prepared to coast and do absolutely nothing.
