The ARC Central Chesapeake Region has a lot of things I value. The rewards program that offers benefits suitable for me and my family. Career advancement. Working environment is clean. The value placed on their workers and clients. Placing a vehicle at each home to make it easy and accessible to transport clients to their activities.

I value the innovation; there is a lot of technology used to support all staff with communication, team work at meetings and during trainings. The IT department provides assistance quickly and efficiently if needed with that technology. There is a lot of growth opportunity. Just recently the organization began the National Alliance for Direct Support Program that will involve continuing education and raises for DSP’s. Community Integration for the people we support is highly valued. People we support are committed constantly trying new activities in the community with the staff focused on support as opposed to care giving. Information is frequently shared with all staff in Zoom town hall meetings.
