Pros

I was lucky to be part of a department with exceptional managers that genuinely cared about my career progress and always took time to mentor me. Company has great pipeline potential and offers great learning experiences. Very talented individuals all the way from entry-level, mid-level management and senior-level management. At every level, there were opportunities for collaboration and mentor-like relationships. Great experience and exposure to different types of tasks and projects. Great group of people and great team. Competitive pay & benefits Great work/life balance (at least in my experience) CEO while I was there (RIP Tom Neff) was extremely intelligent and cared deeply about the Company and its potential to help people

Cons

While my experience was hugely positive and I stand by the 5 stars based on my experience, there were some serious drawbacks that need/needed to be addressed: - Lack of decision-making among most senior level management or constant changes resulted in unnecessary heavy work loads at times, always seemed to happen at the most inconvenient times. - Favoritism among senior-level management was noticed even if the performance was not there - Occasional lack of accountability in various departments is a source of frustration. There were a few individuals that were known to be difficult and under-performers that didn't seem to face accountability. Some individuals were known to not show up to key meetings, not turn in their deliverables by due-dates and so on. As far as I know, no accountability was held. Note that this can be true for almost any company with 100+ employees.

Pros

Innovative and first-in-class drug platforms, committed and dedicated staff- many with long service over ten years with the company, many improvements to employee benefits, employee events and introduction of a monthly speaker series.

Cons

Management needs to better communicate the many successes the company is enjoying. There is a tendency to make public announcements about a major achievement yet there is often little internal recognition of the event.
