      Pros

      There are many opportunities to understand the entire process for accounting standards updates issuance and how to make a decision for any proposed changes to codification through various borad meetings. Also, CPAs can get CPE credits here when they participate the PD sessions.

      Cons

      there is no bonus except for compensation because it is a non-for-profit organization.

      Pros

      Great culture and meaningful work. Great and smart people to work with. Good benefit package. Rewarding work experience.

      Cons

      Parallel organizational structure is good for work collaboration, but is hard to advance into any leadership role. Sometimes work/life balance is not easy to achieve. Intense work and constant deadlines often demands a rather high level of stress.

      Very relaxed but intellectual working environment. Extremely flat organization structure and friendly working environment. Great opportunities to improve writing and communication skills. Excellent vantage point on the broader role of accounting in the capital markets.

      Cons

      Volatile work flow and sometimes nebulous assignments. Can be a very academic place to work, but also very interesting and rewarding.
