Pros

- The private Equity market is an active market! Lots of jobs to fill. - Lots of money to be made. - Nice new offices in London.

Cons

- Poor management. The MD has made multiple people in the business cry/quit. The CEO is never around to manage the business. - Bullying culture. Pointed out in the previous review ... if you make money for the company, you can do and act as you please. This includes turning up to work drunk, bullying/harassing female colleagues, generally unacceptable behaviour. - Encouraged to throw each other under the bus if it means you make money for the company. - Regular arguments/shouting matches/ profanity/name-calling with management allowing this to happen. - Male dominant office with women quitting left right and centre due to bullying/derogatory comments. - Low salary, average commision scheme. - Lots of fake reviews on this page because we were all asked to write "nice" reviews by the marketing team to boost ratings!

Pros

I really like the business and the opportunities it gives my career. Training - The training is exceptional and as someone early on in their career this has really helped me adapt to working in recruitment. The training is all done in-house with a training manager 1-2-1, whilst having group training sessions as well. Commission - when I interviewed with other businesses I noticed there big difference in the commission structures. My earning potential is much better with Finatal and is by far the best I have seen of any of the companies I interviewed with. They also have a scheme to get new starters up and running quickly so you can earn without hitting normal targets straight away. Progression - Finatal offers a really good progression plan which outlines how you progress through the company and what you need to do to get there.

Cons

Management expect high standards, so if you want to excel you will fit in here. If you are someone who just wants to stay average it might not be quite right for you!
