      Cool product in theory, definitely a need for a payroll api, great teammates from what i got to know

      Cons

      product isn’t there, lack of vision/leadership, company is being controlled by a board of directors that no one knows, almost no accountability or sense of ownership, no real culture besides the occasional trivia game or virtual escape room, random lay-offs without notice, lack of legitimate career opportunities

      Skilled Team Building Something Special

      Pros

      When looking for new roles, I want to help build something interesting with smart and fun people. Finch has all of these and then some. We're building a new category and it's apparent how badly the market needs our solution given our growth rates, so that covers interesting. The people across every function are very intelligent, I know I'm in the right place when everyone is smarter than me. The fun part, well our last company offsite in Tahoe was a blast, skiing, sharing beers, swapping stories, and playing hilarious games. One of the best parts in my opinion is how kind and generous everyone is. People will go out of their way to help and kindness here is rewarded.

      Cons

      The biggest downside is the size, we definitely need more builders to help. That's part of creating a special company though, and given how much we're hiring, it'll all be solved very soon. No 401k match

      like any company, there are great people to work with and others who are not so great. they hire people based on culture fit so be prepared to spin your wheels during the interviewing and onboarding process.

      Cons

      long hours. it gets cliquey. lack of direction from management. management is stubborn and it is either their way or the highway.
