Pros
Friendly staff Most of the teachers are locals, so you can work with them to learn Spanish but not be overwhelmed if your Spanish isn't great The schedule is nice 3-9 pm week days plus some weekends (but not full days or every weekend) One of the few schools in Latin America that will actually pay veteran teachers a higher salary than new teachers. I quit immediately because of the visa issue and no one took it personally or was even upset.
Cons
The work visa process is horrific That is a country problem, but the school misleads teachers into thinking they do know the process..but they do not. They can't even tell you what you need to bring from your country. A huge and chaotic school. Loja is not a good city to move to unless you know Spanish. Please take my stars below with a grain of salt..I didn't work there long enough to form any opinions beyond the fact that they couldn't get me a work visa.
