Review for Engineering Position

Pros

Good work-life balance (not expected to work after hours unless extreme circumstance) Great personnel in the Eng. department Team atmosphere

Cons

Set in their ways at times (don't like trying new things) Base pay is low for the Bay Area; they do this so they can give everyone generous bonuses, but is it really a bonus if your base pay is lower than other engineers in the area?

Profit sharing allow you to make money.

Cons

Very nasty group of people at the top. No individuality, ingenuity, or accountability allowed. Nepotism, big egos, and just an awful environment. "Open" but everyone is watching. Terrible benefits.
