* People working here are bunch of dinosaurs who don't want to adapt to the latest technology. In fact, their primary technology of choice is still java 1.7, and you will be lucky enough if you stumble upon java 1.8 (as of this writing the latest version of java is 1.17). Their technology choices are as400, jbpm and java 1.7 or java 1.8. They don't use spring boot or any of the latest technology stack. Also, they don't use any cloud servers, hence they don't have any logging aggregator as a result. You have to either connect to the servers to get the logs, or worst do a remote debug if you need to verify an issue. * Codes are horrible and badly written, and can't be unit tested. * The company does not value talent or performance, but only your billable hours. So if you become idle just because you finished your tasks early and efficiently, you will reprimanded instead of appreciated. Worst from that, tasks are also already estimated by the project manager instead of getting the developers input beforehand. * They don't value privacy. They will install a software in your corporate laptop that randomly takes a screenshot of what you are doing.

Still somewhat shackled to original legacy database, although there are efforts to change this. The company still tends to develop solutions for a given client or opportunity on a short timescale, and long term design plans suffer. Not enough training, although this is common in smaller companies.
