Pros

Only pro was the salary

Cons

They hire you under the guise of needing people in NJ, but the NJ office is not set up and no one works there. The actual office is in NYC where they send you for supposed training but no training is actually given. You are left to figure out the ropes for yourself. Whatever hours you negotiated with Desmond, do not include lunch, meaning that if you settled on 10 hour work days and want lunch, your work day just became 10 hrs 30 min. That is if you are lucky as the position is salary and boy do they take advantage so expect to work well over those hours you agreed on. For example, I was told to schedule interviews for 4 pm, Desmond did not show up until 5:30 which is the time I am suppose to leave but was made to stay til well past 6 and I was only allowed to go since I kept getting calls from concerned family. To make matter worse the front door was broken so once the interviewees came in, no one could get out, so we were literally locked in for well over an hour. Safe to say, the NJ office is very unprepared for employees, there is no wifi, no operational printer, invoice, paper, nor operational door. At the end of your "training" you will be asked if you wish to stay in NYC or go to NJ (the NYC office is under a separate name and company but all pay checks are under the NJ company) this is a tactic as they know the office is not set up and so work cannot be done. They will use this tactic to essentially bully you into working in NYC or get you to quit which many do. And if you do end up quitting, you can expect your last paycheck to be short, which is simply criminal. Additionally, if put in charge of phones, you cannot go to the bathroom or on break without being on top of them/answering them, even if it means connecting the office phone to your own phone. Overall safe yourself the headache, this is not a good place to work just pure lies and deceit.
