Do not work here unless you want your mental health to suffer

Pros

Good benefits, okay pay, some employee engagement. The people that work there are great but management is not.

Cons

Minimal training despite high performance demands. If you’re not meeting goals they may them higher and more impossible to reach. If you have a bonus they make it super difficult for it to be attainable to you. They will have you doing work that has nothing to do with your job description. Executives have absolutely no idea what they are doing and they will use chat GPT to establish processes you should be doing. There’s no streamlined processes. If you decide to work at FCCU good luck because it will ruin your mental health. There is NO GROWTH. yes there’s plenty of positions but only when someone else leaves or is fired. Just because there is other positions available it does not mean they pay more than your current position. People here drop like flies so take my word of advice and find somewhere else to apply.

Pros

-My coworkers were amazing, only reason I would ever stay. -Teller pay was higher than a lot of banks

Cons

-Lots of favoritism -HIGH turnover -The credit union has lost it's vision of customer service and based it on numbers like a BANK -Unfair goals for lower employees such as tellers -Low pay

Pros

There are no pros to working here.

Cons

FCCU is completely disorganized. The HR Department has no idea what they are doing. There is a lot of nepotism in this company so much so that my hiring manager and trainer warned me about who I talked to about what. The training is absolutely ridiculous! It is so long 4+ weeks and covers nothing in relation to your position. Another new hire and myself were in a training lab doing computer modules with no trainer for two weeks. We finished the assignment in two days and NOBODY came in to check if we had completed our work. All we did was sit in that room from 9-5. Whenever I did get on the job training at a branch I realized that everyone who works here is miserable and is only there for a paycheck. Don't waste your time look elsewhere for gainful employment!
