Pros

Pay is pretty good for not needing prior reception experience; I was on $4600 a month for full-time, entry-level office work - that was the main attraction of the job for me, aside from gaining more office experience

Cons

I was assigned the ‘support staff’ role instead of being permanently placed at one venue like some of their staff are, after misinterpreting an email, which gave me the option to interview over video or in person. Because I had the option, I chose the video call, as I was working late the day of the interview at my previous job. I was told management was disappointed in this choice, which is why I was given the support role (which I felt was a little harsh / unfair)

Pros

The staff at each site are lovely and super helpful.

Cons

Really slow response from management and very little communication with staff. As part of the support team you are expected to work late nights as waitstaff for ANZ events, despite signing up for a concierge/reception role. I found it quite concerning that they expected you to serve alcohol without a checking for a valid RSA.
