      Pros

      If you only have a high school diploma, you can be elevated to VP if management feels they can control you.

      Cons

      Salaried employees required to clock in and clock out. Docked pay/PTO if clock in 3 min late yet not compensated if working 3 minutes over. Crazy illegal system. Also, employees receive zero employee perks or discounts on bank’s products (loans, checking accts, etc).

      Pros

      First South promotes from within so opportunities to move up and around are available. Benefits include 401 K, profit sharing, and insurance. One of the best financial institutions to work for in Memphis metro. First South offers knowledge and experience in any and all financial services, which is important in today's economy.

      Cons

      Management can be unprofessional but not unethical or immoral. First South offers tuition reimbursement except for online courses and will not work with you to provide a schedule to allow daytime courses. If you are a degree seeking student, do not work here!
