Pros

While working at Fitzpatrick your knowledge will expand expenentially. You will grow close to your crew, office staff and even Tim himself. Fitzpatrick is a forward thinking, family friendly company.

Cons

Some downsides to this company, which is true for most any outside labor intensive jobs is the fact that it is almost entirely weather dependent.

Pros

I really don’t have anything to write for “pros”

Cons

The management does not care about you as a person, only how much they can work you until you’re burnt out and then they’ll replace you. It seems to be an endless cycle here as that is how every employee is treated unless you are one of the management team who devotes their large portions of their life worshipping the egotistical owner. Should be a very telling sign when a company hasn’t been able to hire an actual licensed HR person for over a year because of their malpractice. Not only that, but they also have had 8 CCB disputes in the past 10 years. In comparing this to another well known company, McClinton Painting & Carpentry, who has 0 CCB complaints in the past 10 years. Don’t even get me started on their 2 OSHA cases from the past year alone. (This is all public knowledge, FYI). It’s unfortunate when a company such as Fitzpatrick Painting, who is a considerably large “small” business, takes advantage of its local citizens in the way it does. The “Leadership” is also a massive part of this company’s short-comings. There were no defined policies and procedures for the tasks related to my job and therefore had I to create them on my own for the two years I was with the company, with no raises, and a significantly increased workload after my 3 month review. Yet again another company whose “leadership” has no idea what they are even “leading”. They also encourage a “boys club” environment in the office due to most of the “leadership” team being males. Women steer clear. On top of all of this, they are trying to silence my voice as a prior employee by deleting this review on Indeed multiple times. Therefore I will continue to post this every time it’s deleted.
