They don’t practice what they preach

- People are overall really nice - Work can be interesting if it is scoped correctly - Strong visual/graphic design skill set

Cons

- Not enough work to go around for everyone - Lack of visibility on what’s next - Senior/Leadership pay a lot of lip service. They talk about culture and empathy, but don’t actually care when it comes to it. - Leadership team don’t seem to really care about their craft. The way they interact or communicate often comes across as more of a “chore” than passion and desire to inspire.

Pros

The work life balance and other benefits that are alright compared to the market. Coworkers are quite friendly and easy to work with.

Cons

Echoing many of the other reviews I would not consider Fjord a design company. It has expanded 3x in the last few years through acquisitions and Accenture internal recruitment however this means a lot of the original Fjord culture is lost. Amongst other things, the work that is output is very mediocre with no visible results. Most of the work is spoonfed from Accenture with the aim to impress clients by their agile and forward thinking processes when in reality it’s a sales tool to sell Accenture’s outdated and equally mediocre delivery teams.
