I was repeatedly told that everything was going well when it clearly wasn't. This lack of transparency eroded trust and left me feeling disconnected from the team. Additionally, I was misled about the company's commitment to professional development. I was promised support for my career growth, but in reality, it was minimal at best. There were no tangible efforts to help me enhance my skills or advance within the company. In conclusion, my time at Fleetio was marked by unfulfilled promises, a lack of mentorship, and a dishonest work environment. It's disheartening when a company fails to live up to its commitments, and Fleetio, in my experience, fell short in multiple ways. I must clarify that my negative experience at Fleetio was primarily attributed to my interactions with my former managers. I believe the company as a whole is not inherently bad, and it does have strong leadership at the top. The issues I encountered were localized to specific individuals within the management team, and I don't want to generalize this to the entire organization. While I faced challenges with mentorship, transparency, and professional development, I acknowledge that these issues may not be representative of everyone's experience at Fleetio.
