Pros

There is nothing good about Flexcare anymore.

Cons

Flexcare prides themselves on saying there is a single point recruitment all this really does is bogs down recruiters. They lie and do not do taxes correctly to the point where you always owe at the end of the year. The micromanagement is on a different level. They will watch everything and if you look away for a bit, they are on you. Recently they have been forcing employees to make 20+ calls after work or you will be put on a performance improvement plan. They are forcing managers to demote themselves to recruiters in order to bring more nurses to the company or once again, they will be put on a performance improvement plan. They dont have many jobs and dont pay their travelers very much. They lie that they take the same amount of money from every hospital “flat rate”. Its more fluff talk. They are ruthless inside and out and really give off a cult vibe. The type to call you family and then threaten your job when you don't do something beyond your job description. They force you to complete a best place to work survey which once again is nonsense. They are terrible do not work here.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback about your experience at FlexCare, however, we are concerned because your comments have a number of inaccuracies or are wrong. We believe strongly in our single-point recruitment approach as it has proven to be very beneficial as a best-in-service approach for our clinicians. FlexCare values the opportunity for our employees to be high-achieving, and we recognize that success is often matched by the amount of time invested, which can exceed the standard 40-hour workweek. The act of stepping down from management or leadership is a personal choice influenced by various reasons and factors. It’s important to refrain from making assumptions about the circumstances surrounding these decisions. We are dedicated to fostering a positive workplace culture that values transparency and open communication. We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience but the feedback you provided is not constructive or accurate. We encourage you to reach out to Human Resources or send an email to FeedbackforFlexcare@flexcarestaff.com if you are willing to discuss your concerns in more detail. Thank you for sharing your insights, and we wish you success in your future endeavors.

Bad news comes in 3’s

Pros

You will meet good people that want to succeed. They won’t succeed and it’s painful to watch.

Cons

This place is like a giant pyramid scheme, unattainable pay structure and higher ups raking in all the money. If you wouldn’t work at Tupperware then you won’t last here. Bad pay, worst in the industry for a“top” agency. Bad expectations, do not work here unless prepared to work 60 hours a week. That is the only way to make decent money and 99% of staff don’t make much so don’t believe the “tiers” they talk about. Bad morale because leaders are paid to stalk your every move digitally, no sense of trust. Even worse morale because recruiters are treated like the scum of the earth by clinicians/nurses and then also by senior leadership. If you are winning you will be loved, if you are not winning (95% of people) you will feel the disappointment during every interaction, every conversation, and every attempt at success will be thwarted by unspoken dissatisfaction from the petty leaders. When you succeed some leader will take credit for their “ability” and when you lose they will penalize you immediately.

Pros

It used to be a good company to work for but the culture has gone down hill the last 3 years.

Cons

They don't value your opinion and senior leadership will not listen to you. They want you to treat your employees like children and micro manage them through every task. It is their way or the highway. There is no vision anymore and they don't care about their people. The culture is terrible and they just laid of 50 people just so the owners could make more profit and then the next week the whole C-suite went to Cabo which is showing very out of touch. HR does not watch out for its employees and their only purpose is to prevent the company from getting sued. Run for the hills if you interview here. Do not waste your time.

We appreciate your feedback, but it contains inaccuracies we’d like to clarify. The trip to Cabo you mentioned was earned by qualifying employees in 2023 and was separate from 2024 events and decisions. Not all our C-Suite team attended; only a select few did. This trip is an annual reward for employee success and is unrelated to any staffing decisions based on business needs. One of the HR teams main objectives is to protect the company, but we also pride ourselves on providing a safe and inclusive working environment for all. The layoffs that occurred were not aimed at increasing owner profits but rather adjusting to industry and market changes for appropriate staffing levels. While we value all feedback, individual perspectives are much different than constructive feedback. If you have specific, actionable concerns, please reach out to FeedbackforFlexcare@flexcarestaff.com.
