Pros
I learnt a lot during my stint at Flexigroup. When I initially started, there was brilliant people on board who were all willing to work together. However over the years they made some questionable recruitment strategies in senior positions which caused valuable staff members to leave...not that flexi cared.
Cons
1) Hire from the outside and don't promote within...and when they do, it tends to be the staff members that go for drinks/coffees with managers, not those who are actually driving strategy. 2) Don't care about their people causing a toxic culture...most staff members know about this culture and know the root cause comes from senior leadership. When you speak up, you get sat on the side of key projects so everyone just gets on with it. 3) Reporting figure seem to be overly inflated when reporting to market. 4) Very top heavy organisation. They go through extensive and frequent redundancies to remove senior management and then replace them with even more senior management. 5) Senior management doesn't respect the opinions of those under them, despite juniors being closer to the intricacies of projects. 6) Back stabbing culture...senior management believes you need to put someone down to put yourself up; rather than bringing everyone up with you.
