Pros

The free coffee is about all I can think of as benefit of working here.

Cons

If you doubt any negative feedback you find here on Glassdoor, check LinkedIn. Many past employees of FocusEduvation were out of work for months prior to being hunted by management. These people tend to be more desperate for work and willing to settle. I know that was the case for me. Also notice on LinkedIn how long past employees stayed - 6-9 months. I saw this pattern repeated several times while working there. One person worked one day and quit. Others just left their stuff behind on their desk just to get out faster. Finally, check the dates of several posts here. Many are clumped together as management would basically force us to write positive comments in social media. Management is not just demeaning, they're abusive. Yelling matches are a frequent event and you better not have a problem being sworn at. They have no money for anything. No funds for development, travel, conferences or anything else. The atmosphere is suffocating. No one speaks to anyone. Management will just walk by you without a word and walk in on you if you have the nerve to talk to someone privately. Lies. Work is done in India and US employees are really just puppets held up in front of customers. You don't get the job you were promised and you don't get the time off you worked for.

Pros

I'm hard pressed to think of a a reason anyone would want to work at this company unless you're homeless.

Cons

First of all, make no mistake that this is an Indian company placing Americans in front of clients. Other than that, there is no reason for anyone to work in the US office. The pay is low, you're expected to work rediculous hours, benefits are almost non-existent and the culture is that of a sweatshop. I have never been spoken to or treated as badly as I was by management at this office. A couple of employees have been with the company for 2 years, but several left in less than two weeks due to abusive treatment by management. Employees are told they will be hired to do a particular job, but quickly find themselves being told to do something different - then chastized for not being able or willing to do what they never agreed to doing at the time of hire. If you do accept a job there, be aware that management reads every single email sent to you - even those sent by your spouse.

Pros

Honestly, can't think of a single one.

Cons

Oppressive environment. Horrible management. Poor benefits. Cheated me out of money when I left. Rumors of piratted software. Used to get complaints from vendors that they were never paid. Manage through fear and intimidation. Never successfully completed a contract during the entire time I was there. The Woburn location is just a front for work done poorly in India.
