Pros
Tons of learning opportunities if you're up for it and interested in personal/professional growth. Non traditional exposure to a variety of areas in the business areas you usually wouldn't be exposed to in other companies this size regardless of level of role. Ability to be independent and make your own mark on processes or projects. Tons of opportunity if you're smart, curious and open to challenges.
Cons
Feedback is not a common standard and most of the time you have to figure out where you stand without direct and individualized communication which makes it a sink or swim environment.
