Good pay but bad managament

Pros

- Pay is above market (if you negotiate it well, given Leadership will tell you "hire and we will figure out later unbalanced salaries") - Referral bonus is very very very good - "Early join" bonus for future hires is also good (you can get some extra cash by just starting 1 week earlier) - Remote work - People (non Leadership team) are nice to work with and smart

Cons

- Founders don't listen to anyone besides themselves - If the founder's knowledge (or ability to listen to the ones that master their domain) was the same as their ego, then the company would be functioning pretty well (but unfortunately the ego "supersedes" the ability to listen) - Lack of understanding of what some functions do: you hire professionals with experience to lead/build up teams, but then end up not letting them do their job b/c Leadership has a different view of the world or b/c they just hired someone new with an opinion outside of his team - Lack of experience at the Leadership level: 3 founders came from Uber where the CEO did Country Manager job and the 2 others did mid-level functions; this lack of experience (which is fine - we are all on constant learning) is blatant in everyday decisions that are often a knee-jerk reaction to a customer stressing with something that is small (but they don't have the experience, so make it the biggest priority) - Overall I think it's pretty clear that Leadership needs a shake-up with more experienced people, an experienced COO that does more than "how to book an offsite policy", and more diversity (both gender and thought process at the Leadership level) along with allowing the smart people you hired to do their job (vs. micro-manage them)

Pros

- Decent pay - Remote first company which does give flexibility

Cons

- Lack of transparency - NO culture or clear values - company principles that are spoken about, but are based on an Amazon/Netflix style brand, feels disconnected for the size and stature of the company - Lack of empathy - Lots of redundancies - No performance plans/development plans/zero direction for growth

Pros

Work remotely, and that's it.

Cons

The managing team is quite arrogant. Lack of plans, which results in constant layoffs. No coordination between products. Forget about career opportunities.
