Pros

*employment as a cashier *hard working employees are friendly *3 managers directing cashiers *4-5 different head cashiers in appropriate shifts *scheduled different shifts throughout employment It is great memorizing codes and customer special order requests. Restocking returned merchandise is a good way to help customers. cashiers are usually temporary positions

Cons

*need to consider qualified person for advancement or raises *should be respectful during business hours *treat all employees equally *high turnover rate *hired for cashier did sackers job also(2 full jobs) *outdated equipment should have scan guns. They are needed in retail with mass UPC codes bathroom should be seperate from eating area. Update equipment for customer satisfaction and employee safety.

Pros

Salary was good and so were the quarterly bonuses, that were ridiculously easy to make. All that was required to be eligible for the quarterly manager's bonus was to be under-spent in labor costs. This was a joke considering you could play around with hours and not even worry about it until about three weeks before the quarterly inventory. Don't get me wrong I loved the extra money, I mean really who wouldn't, but I became concerned about job security and the companies business model. This was the first of MANY red flags to leave this company A.S.A.P.!!!!!!

Cons

6 Day work week, no communication from upper management and when the stars aligned and we were so privileged to receive any downward communication it was mostly criticism to any attempt you made to improve the store. Corporate is very much set in their ways, no new ideas are accepted if you would like to make a suggestion for improvement it is immediately thwarted and seen as a "dumb idea" by upper management.
