Pros

Some very smart people work at Force 3. They provide most federal holidays off. Benefits are decent enough. Work environment is getting a face lift. Employees at the staff level work their tails off.

Cons

Force 3 is the kind of company that seems great at first. Fun happy hours, cool coffee bar, team outings, cook-outs onsite - some cool activities! However, the mirage fades fast when you realize you aren't part of the crowd. If you don't frequent the happy hours and drinking binges you become an outsider. Also, the stuff that goes on at some of these events between male managers and subordinate female employees is disgusting. Not to mention what the executives do during "leadership retreats" when they are supposed to be plotting a course for the future! The moral standards are very low to say the least. When the CEO and CFO positions switched hands, it seemed to become more like a fraternity house and less like a business. The leadership team is sub-par at best and takes credit for the work of their staff and middle managers. For a group of adults attempting to lead the company, the amount of gossip that flows out of that group is shameful. Again, lack of moral and ethical standards. Compensation typically sits just at market unless you are an engineer. There is absolutely no recognition for hard work unless you are on the sales team.

Pros

Casual work environment employees are helpful training happy hours team outings

Cons

There is a lack of management engagement; they will not offer support where needed. Many times the Managers were invited to customer meetings however, they were always too busy to tag along. Management is just a title at Force 3; there is absolutely nothing positive to say about the managers I encountered while employed there. At first it is great, but shortly after you are hired the true colors come out.

Pros

Pay is decent, but not great. This being a consulting company, the latest and greatest tech is always available.

Cons

Management is not that fair to employees, often given cold shoulder, they lay people off like crazy. In my first six months, I can count off the top of my head ten people quitting or being fired, and about the same number coming on. From what I heard, Force 3 has a reputation for having this type of revolving door workforce. Not all that great in my opinion for a consulting company that is supposed to be "the best." Management should be offering a helping hand to employees rather than firing people or letting them quit. Costs more money to fire people, and rehire others than it does to help your current employees, that are in-turn supposed to be helping you.
