The dysfunction and incompetence allowed, and even nurtured, in this company create strong tension, redundant work, and hostility between departments. The first red flag was the excessive discouragement of lawsuits in the new employee paperwork. The next red flag was being yelled at by a staff member like we were in-laws (on my first week of the job). There is very little team morale and too much inappropriate gossip, including from "HR." The final red flag was getting grief for missing work due to emergency circumstances.

Very poor management. The communication between and within departments is ruptured, divisive and non cooperative. Employees groan about working there and no one is happy. Processes are inefficient; employees are just spinning the wheels. Manipulative office politics in play. Coworkers and management will throw you under the bus at any chance they get to save themselves.
