Pros

There truly are no pros to working at this company. Everyone is miserable, and the ones who appear. It to be are too young and inexperienced to know the difference.

Cons

- zero work/life balance - owner is insane - awful compensation 40K-50k is a high salary there - terrible medical - terrible vacation/sick - only young inexperienced people last, since they know no different

Toxic Work Environment

Pros

Young employee base, relaxed dress code, plenty of sports talk if you're into sports

Cons

There is a great amount of stress here. Pay is low and you are not compensated for any extra or over-time hours you put in (this is often). Screaming at employees can be heard through the building as well as sarcastic grumbling from other employees saying they're "living the dream." In order to advance in this company and be promoted, you must have very low self-esteem and take verbal abuse almost regularly from upper management; the "bend over and take it" employee. Employee office relations , stealing, covering things up; the list goes on. Leave any previous knowledge of full-time work behind; you will not make much money here, you will be over-worked and over-stressed, and you will not have much room for advancement, even if you receive high praise and good word for your work. Once you reach what management feels is the top of your pay level, you will be let go.

Hello, We are extremely sorry to hear that. We pride ourselves on having a competitive work environment (not for everyone). We have many employees who have had long-standing careers within the organization and do apologize that you weren't able to find the same. Your career definitely requires you to dedicate some time to it (shocking, you might have to stay until 6 PM!) but that comes with a performance based culture. Best of luck!

Not really worth your time

Pros

You will learn a lot and potentially be set up for a good career moving forward, just know going in that this will not be a long term job if you want to have any semblance of a life outside of work. Knowing that it was just a stepping stone to something better is the only thing that kept me sane.

Cons

The salary is extremely low- even after 2 years with the company and multiple raises. You will work well past 5 every single day and not be rewarded or even acknowledged for it, but if there is one day you leave at 5:15, they will definitely notice that and say something about how you must need more work. You can also expect to come in on Saturday at least once a month. The CEO is a lunatic and not a nice person. The fact that I was contributing to the bank account of Michael Lewis made me loathe my job even more. When I quit, he told me that I was an idiot and said he knew I didn't have what it takes to succeed, even though a month earlier he told me he was impressed with how smart I was. You can expect to be talked down to and treated like garbage at least a few times a month, even if you are good at your job.
