This company has balanced itself well in the art of producing immaculate experiences, while maintaining a dignified realness. Pairing with 80% professionalism and elite standards of teamwork, organization, and efficiency, is a 10% amount of humility and another 10% of notable stress. The company has grown far from their original place as a coffee and vending market, and is now one of the leaders of event production in southeast Michigan.
Cons
When entering the team, I felt welcomed and equipped with leadership and the inner-knowings of the company as far as it related to me and my direct role. I spent a year there learning quickly and feeling comfortable managing senior-level events without a sweat. Unfortunately, my age was deemed as a reason to not promote me. It’s an unfortunate loss for them, and it was a very hard pill for me to swallow. I never want to be withheld from opportunities that I’m worthy of again. If that means being mentored and coached, or entering additional trainings, I will happily do that instead of being stunted in place.
