- Was told by more than one manager that if you do not look the part you will not go anywhere. I agree with the Barbie and Ken review below. Never reported to HR because there is a no real HR Department.
- Coworkers around me held this same belief and you were treated very well or very poorly depending on who you were and what roll you held. I was absolutely disguised the way coworkers talk about and treated each other. I have seen multiple screaming matches in the few months I was there.
- The managers are very unprofessional. Not putting a stop to gossip and drama, but egging it on and sometimes even starting it. Confidential things I told my manager were told to coworkers, thus starting drama. When you try to be the bigger person they would lie to your face that they didn't say anything.
- People have been working together in this industry for a long time, friends are chosen over what is right. Friends were given the rights to run the office and people how they would like, though people were being mistreated.
- There is no real HR department. There is no one to go to if you are being harassed, even when you bring concerns to management they tell you to get thicker skin (exact words).
- The company is thrown together by people from all different Commercial Real Estate companies, each office and each manager does their own thing with no consistency.
- Working 10 hour days are consistent and 12 is not surprising. Weekend work happened regularly just because there are no set guidelines of job descriptions between managers and assistant PMs that the assistant takes the brunt of the work and cannot complain without just a response that you are "their support". If you don't take their work you are not showing initiative.
- They did some shady things with my pay when I left.
