Cons

I learned the hard way not to take any promises seriously. Increases in salary, career growth, and opportunities are all just lip service. Employees are worked extra hard, sometimes even through the night when a deadline is looming. It is up to employees to advocate for themselves if they don't want to be treated unfairly. Management will push and push until employees say no. There is also a culture of toxic positivity where employees feel that problems can't be called out without suffering repercussions. Everyone is expected to pretend everything is great.

Pros

I work within a remarkable team where we respect each other and communicate well. We can arrange work around our life. Some weeks can be hectic, but then we have quieter weeks that make up for it. I travel a lot because of my partner's work and I can take my work with me. Also, I enjoy working in a global scale-up and meeting people from all over the world.

Cons

It can get super busy at times but the team is very supportive and we share the workload if needed.
