Pros

They offer apprentice school to employees. It's optional and a portion of the cost is taken from weekly pay. If you plan to become a licensed electrician, it could be a good resource. Good people.

Cons

It's construction. It's cold, it's hot, it's wet..whatever... you're in it.

The range of benefits. The quality of work and safety. The amount of company resources for work. Genuinely nice accounting staff. Quarterly raises and reports.

Cons

There is an air of uninportantance you feel when applying and completing hire. If you have any type of negative impact to the company, they'd sooner give you the boot instead of correcting the issue at hand. If you are barely floating as an individual coming in, they will not help, you just have to survive till payday. Don't expect any help with personal finances. Your time starts when you drive your personal vehicle to the jobsite, don't expect compensation for your travel or expenses.
