Pros
A good amount of breaks during the day. OK sales training. Great practice with different aspects of communication. You may make some good contacts with huge companies.
Cons
- The software you use here will not help you in the future. Made in house and is very old and inefficient. - You will be micro managed beyond belief, with calls every hour or so from the CEO making sure your call counts are up. - You are only allowed to take breaks at every :50 of the hour for ten minutes. If you need to use the bathroom before then.... good luck! - don't believe anything they tell you about comission, you will make very little, and they will change it around until you make none. If you make to many sales, the CEO will not pay you ANY of it. - taking a lunch is looked down upon. - they will often order pizza and not let anyone leave the office, you have to sit at your desk and eat. - the months of Nov and Dec are lengthened each day by one hour to make up for the holidays that you get off... even though full timers are suppose to get paid those days. - taking vacation or pto days is very looked down upon, good luck getting those accepted. - if yiu are hourly you will not get over time pay even if you have worked overtime. - they will randomly tell you to work Saturdays. - if your sales are great they will find something else to yell at your for... If your sales are bad.. you will be fired. - most of the engineers you have to work with on projects don't want anything to do with you. - employee treatment is as unprofessional as it can get. You will be swore at and called all kinds of names, mostly by the CEO. - HR will not do anything about the unprofessional ism in the work place. - sales mgr won't help you if you're sales are down, they will just throw jabs at you to bring your morale down even lower. - pay raises don't exist. They promise big and you end up with little or nothing. - no room for growth. - prices are more then anyone else's on the market by a huge margin.
