Pros

Good people that want to learn and move up

Cons

Where do I begin ive been working here for over 10years Let me start with this there is a review here stating they  do "full" 401k match , first off they don't is 25% and that isn't guaranteed if we don't meet our goals. Insurance is the worst, it goes up every year Employees don't get treated equally,  for years people would want to move to another position to better themselves and make more money  and their own supervisor would keep them for no reason or say they need them without even paying them more to stay, it changed not too long ago that employees who get hire for another position  within the company can move without supervisor interfering but from what we are seeing is that they r still keeping them in another way by not even giving them a interview or supervisor talking to the other supervisor and changing their mind , most of the production employees don't trust their superiors and management  because they give them false hope Review times are the worst , through the year , every meeting we have ...they say " we are doing great , we are surpassing our goals, we are doing record numbers " we all assume like this year we would get a good raise with the great work we all did and trust us it was the total opposite,  just because your review was great and see that " you performance was great and outpaced your last one " you assume your raise would be better than the last one combining how the company is doing and your own performance guess what ...WRONG!!! ...WRONG!!!.. their reason is like the rest of the reviews "is not in the budget"  but give other  employees with a decent year more money because they are friends and get along with their superiors  but not the best overall employees. The employees are doing the job of 3 positions and they can't even changed their titles..but management can to raise their salaries trust me we know.. that is why  employees are leaving left and right for better pay and half the workload and they don't even see that as a red flag and quite frankly they don't care because they will just throw the workload to other employees Recently they try to do this volunteering  employees to park on another property because they don't have enough space for everyone , even tho they say it's voluntary but they way supervisors tell employees they pretty much force you , they don't even tell you if they will cover your car incase of a accident or if it's gets damage because they are pretty much forcing you and they will say it was voluntary There is like maybe 1/3 of the supervisor who are nice and the rest are the worst , they don't know how to communicate with their employees at all , they talk down to them , they don't respect them at all , they don't even help out in the department when the workload is too much , they don't listen to the employees with suggestions on how to improve the workplace and work flow be a useful they have to be right and it's their way only so if they don't say it then it won't work .. Also they make these teams which sounds good but it really isn't,  they try to help out and make some improvements but when they come down to the real problems in the workplace, management  don't speak a word of it because it cost money, yes they talk about it in meetings but it doesn't go from there So pretty much as they keep making more money they r not sharing it with employees Good to get some experience and learn something but this is not a place for the long run at all .

Pros

Family owned, 40+ years in business. CEO and family Great! Most of the people here are nice and easy to work with and get along, not ALL the people, but a lot.

Cons

Compensation is TERRIBLE and raises are NON-EXISTANT, 5 years without raises. The company boasts on how well we are doing, HOWEVER, they tell you “there may be raises if you work harder and do more” and then tell you “Sorry there is no money in the budget for a raise’s for anyone”. Lie. . . Lie.. Lie!!! The management has received raises every year and they DID give raises to some employees, if your manager likes you or you are receptive to your managers advances and lewd comments. Employees not treated fairly. Women are not treated as equals, or given respect.

Pros

You get the experience

Cons

ive been working here for around 15 years , i have learned alot throughout the years and slowly realized that they pretty much take advantage of you if you let yourself, lets starts with this first , the company has been bought by a investment company called Arsenal, they usually buy invest and resell at a higher profit after 3-5years, we are on year 3, so if you are thinking of a career here please think twice cuz it can be moved or sold pretty soon. management will say otherwise but at the end of the day they no longer make the final decision , the new owners do know. Also when the company post a ad for a job opening they description does not match what you will be actually doing and some what missleads you by not putting it on top and makes you read the entire job and waste your time that if you have a work permit, you cannot work with them, so if you are not a resident you out of luck. also lets say you get the job when you read the description of your title and description at the end they pretty much add this clause that pretty much states that you will do your job plus any other task the company desires and you must do them so please read it carefully because they wont put those terms on any job ads they offer until you sign your contract to work for them or you will do the job 3 positions but wont pay you fair. people are nice and all , dont get me wrong there are good people but when it comes down to business you will know who cares about you and who cares only about the benefits of the company only and not as a team ill give u the rundown of the company *401k is only 25% if we meet target goals *pay is decent but trust me when they make you do other jobs and so called cross train you but the pay is the same with the same title the pay is little *insurance is too much not worth it to be honest if you are young. *there are teams to help and be "part" of the development but in a way is just another way to get you to do more work and not actually reward you at the end of the year because if the company doesnt do good then all your hard work goes to waste ...period they micromanage people too much, unless you work in the office , then you can come and leave when you want to , take long breaks , while you at ot take a smoke break on top of your regular break you will be fine but if you work in the production nope cant do that, new hires tend to stay for around 3 years or less because how people the see this company outside other places and actually experience it themselves, we are the JV of pay but if you work there for a few years do the job of 3 employee you can come down ITT where 10+ former employees from the same department leave to work for them for way more money and half the workload , they know about it but do nothing to stop it but get upset when they leave for more money, yeah they go by contracts but they have alot of them and guess what at the end of the day we are here to make money and better ourselves and this company doesnt want to take risk on the young crowd and methods People talk about real problems there is at work and when you challenge the company and tell them what they are actually doing wrong and everyone agrees they kick you out of the group like they did to a manager because the truth hurts and they don't wanna hear it or if it's during a meeting they will say that they will look at it but never do it , last they are trying to make this company work in a assembly line style format using a dispatch list which by the way has alot of flaws and has been brought up but not one single adjustments has been done or any feedback , they can say its not but when u see that you are timed , how many u do amd in what order and everything is an assembly style list, yeah you can say efficiency but a computer cannot put in factors as in how many vs machine, height of people , lenght , actual humans , they want us to work like robots , this company truly lacks empathy for others lately and they need to realize that the young generation wont tolerate that because there are jobs out there they can do while they find a better paying one, so if you wanna keep them you have to meet them half way, they wont accept the "at least you have a job" words , remember the internet is a powerful tool either you listen and compromise and meet half way or dont listen and we will spill out the truth like this post im writing and losing good potential employees that rather work for a little bit less than tolerate toxic working environment.
