      Pros

      The pay was great when working Red Sox games but it was very dependent on the season.

      Cons

      Unresponsive management, unreliable scheduling and constantly changing GM's.

      Pros

      I had some cool coworkers behind the bar to commiserate with. Good life-work balance since they wouldn't give you full schedules and overwork you (then again, you didn't have $$ to spend on your days off).

      Cons

      Owners downgrade you from full-time to part-time to save money by not giving you benefits. They had a 5% suggested tip out for service drinks -- some servers didn't even tip you out and that was okay with management. You needed an extra bartender to do service and that cut tips in half. Basically, they made it hard to keep bartenders and the turnover was the fastest I've seen.
