Overall, environment is not great:
- Managers are not transparent about growth paths. New responsibilities are always given to employees as if the company is doing the employee a favor, when usually is due to understaffing and higher level employees feeling overwhelemed.
- Raise schedule is confusing with no transparency and raise asks are accepted or rejected depending on the mood of upper management. Leadership has also acknowledged that there is pay disparity between male and female employees.
- Company totes a focus on DEI but does not practice. No real diversity, harrassment, or bias trainings are done for employees. Leadership often performs microaggressions that are expected to be laughed off as company does not really have an HR department for reporting and employees fear retribution.
