Do not take a Show-Site PM position

Pros

Meet new people. Always new challenges. Not a complete bore, basically.

Cons

Do not work or freelance for Freeman unless you are in an operating position on a show. If you are in a PM role, they will squeeze whatever they can out of you for sub-par pay. They have BARELY increased the PRE-PANDEMIC rates and salaries. They act like $1.00 is worth just as much as it did in 2018. The amount of nonsense greatly varies from Overall to Overall, or Sales Rep to Sales Rep. More times than not, you will get burned. Whether it be working late into the night because of management's lack of foresight, or a laundry list of extra responsibilities that were in no way communicated until less than a week from show. Anyone that says otherwise is one of the 25yr olds they hire for pennies on the dollar that are just happy to be there.
