Pros

I struggle to find a single pro.

Cons

This is hands down the most evil organization I've seen in my career. They only grow by consuming other companies. They will lie to everyone saying business as usual and how they want to learn from you while you grow together. This is done to buy them a month or so to get their systems in place, while this is going on they direct their people to begin meeting with your teams instructing them that these will soon be their offices while still lying to all of us telling us nothing is going to change. Once they have their technology in the offices, get us all on a call an eliminate our jobs. That is just phase one... Next they go in and start chopping the pay of the teams left in the offices to almost in half to get them out the door as well but careful not to do everyone at once so they can still try ad keep offices open and use people like pawns. This is how they conduct business here. Everyone is disposable. The benefits are the worst in the industry where new hires get zero pto during their first year and only 1 week by year 2. Health care is a joke with terrible plans. This company is designed to churn and burn people out. They can't attract anyone with real Insurance experience, so they focus on getting new people into Insurance and never have to give them pto because these people leave before they get past a year. The turnover rate here is over 40% with no signs of changing. If they buy your company, start looking for a new job immediately. Don't believe their lies. Their are many other companies in this industry to work for, do not waste your time applying here.

Pros

- Good money AT TIMES if you lie and deceive customers with false hopes they'll pay $15 for auto insurance

Cons

- Company false advertises - Company underpays the employees and does not pay all overtime entitled to its employees - Company charges back on commissions and looks for any excuse litterally to mess with your pay - Management and upper management do not treat employees with dignity and respect - They recruit you with the illusion that you will make a lot of money but their pay structure is vague and only beneficial to the company. your base salary is minimum wage, and if you make commission they will not pay you minimum plus commission, it would be just the commission alone - No benefits! only thing they offer worth while is dental, medical is only a supplemental plan. No paid vacations, bonuses, or incentives! - If you have ambitions of growing and managing, not with this company! managers are only paid around $2000 monthly not (exaggerating), most of the time your top agent makes more than you as a manager! - People move up by sucking up and making it seem like theyre all for the company and do not move up based on skill - many times hard to sale a policy due to excessive bad reviews of unethical practices performed by brokers in order to get enough money to survive! - Percentages paid to you on broker fee are low at 20% and if error done on application 14% - Literally all money collected in fees paid by the customer are pretty much for the company to keep

Pros

My company was purchased by CONFIE, another name for Freeway Insurance. I was not able to find in Pros.

Cons

My former organization was purchased in December of 2023 by CONFIE, at which time everyone was told that we had nothing to worry about and assured us that no one would be out of a job, later we would discover that this was a tactic used to get everyone to work through busy season. During this time Freeway leadership would go into my offices introduce themselves as the new manager, all the while the leadership above them assured myself and many of my colleagues this was not the case. As soon as the sale went through the leadership comp cards were shut off, then a week later all leadership from my former organization was sent a zoom invite and told that their services were no longer needed, they did not consider the qualifications nor interview people for positions they could have filled internally. Once they got rid of the leadership that was shielding the team from the lies being told, they went in and took all the team members pay down to $10 an hour, they do make commission; however, they will only get that which is higher. They will increase targets by over 500%, and they do not provide leads, as promised, making it impossible to meet such high demands. The mirco managing is insane. When they are ready to let you go get ready to be lined up like cattle, to get calf fries to market. Sadly, this abuse is not exclusive to one area, as it appears the egos expanding across the entire country. One wonders were is CONFIE HR department in all this, do they have one? If so, are the proud of the unhuman culture that is in the field, one should hope not, RUN far away, they will lie to you about everything and anything, which makes me question how they can be in the business of making a promise.
