Pros

have a vision of changing the way the world grows its food

Cons

My linkedIn account was hacked by Freight Farms. My linkedin account was linked to my freight farms email account along with my personal email account. After leaving the company people (Co-Founders) at the company still access to my email. With this access my LinkedIn account password was reset through a request by the FreighFarms email account. LinkedIn provided an account history with IP addresses and computer MAC addresses outlining the events of: change the password, login into the account, removing me from their company's linkedin page so I was no longer come up in searches, removing my personal email account from my linkedin account. I was alerted to this only after trying to login to my account and LinkedIn telling me my email address didn't have an account. I spoke to their security team, proved my identity and was given my account and the history of what had happened so I could report it to proper authorities if needed. This is how they treat former employees

Pros

Interesting concept and some good people

Cons

Co-founders are deceptive and provide little long term strategy. The business model is simply not profitable and there are numerous issues with the product itself. No proper testing or engineering and the business is running on fumes as the VC piggy bank dries up. Most importantly, management does not listen to the team and the company is all smoke and marketing mirrors.

Was a promising company

Pros

Great group of employees who all have the same drive and ambition to create a product that could change the world we live in.

Cons

Products and programs aren't fully thought through and are pushed out quickly to capitalize on prospective future funding. Executives wants and the companies needs interfere with one another constantly creating a stressful work environment. Many promises are made to employees and customers, but there is always an excuse for something not happening, or blame being put on someone else. Lack of communication across the company constantly hurts the company and its progress. Employee Benefits aren't that great and salaries don't match the surrounding Boston market.
