Pros

Freight Tiger has seen rapid growth in the 9 months I was employed there. They have managed to bring in some top talents recently which I believe will help shape the company. There are some great minds at work here and the daily learnings are massive. Shout out to the CEO / COO for their drive and vision for the company. The work atmosphere is excellent and enjoyable. It's a young and energetic team from varied backgrounds and cultures. You will enjoy your tea beaks.

Cons

Nothing to write home about but sure as with any company going through lightning fast growth and transition, if you have recently come onboard, you will find yourself struggling to find a place to sit and work out of. It maybe a small (and temporary) inconvenience but hang in there for the greater good.

Good CTO, Arrogant COO, Indifferent CEO

Pros

CTO is highly qualified, experienced, innovative, & a good human being. It's a delight to work in his leadership.

Cons

CEO & COO take an arrogant pride in their Harvard education, Apple co. experience, etc. They are serious about implementing a political work culture that doesn't support independent thinking, encouraging brainstorming sessions, or positive team collaboration. They hire senior managers at lesser salaries than team-members, by telling lies and manipulating them. They make all employees feel like employees, by looking down upon them, and making judgements about their personal traits, and making them feel that they are privileged. There is an air of arrogance, & dominance, which is very unhealthy, and is the reason of high attrition rate in the company.

Serious Problem

Pros

1) A potentially good domain and company mission statement. 2) Tie up with good brands.

Cons

Short Description: 1) The mission statement is a marketing gimmick. They are a call center aspiring to become a software product company/ SaaS company. 2) Extremely high attrition. Even director level position get vacant within months. 3) Autocratic and inexperienced CEO. 4) Promoted politics. 5) Quality of work and no leadership to learn from. 6) No lunch/snacks/ , tea coffee (yes nothing). No insurance. 7) Forced to work on weekends without pay. 8) Work hours a joke, you can be called anytime. tldr; This review is as honest as possible. The place by any standard does not function as a product startup. Product vision is blurry and feature prioritization is a joke. Communication is so weak that a small product feature takes 2 months to develop only to be scrapped by the CEO just at completion. The product manager leadership is incompetent, arrogant and inexperienced. The existing product is a hack put together and the CTO is mostly hot fixing issues. The architecture is non-existent, nobody talks about it and interested. Engineering strength is 10-12 people and most people leave within 2-3 months of joining. Tried to open Bengaluru office with the hope of retention, the situation is worse there. Promoted politics, reward yes people. Even in small setup, they try to create competition between employees. Open partiality. No rewards or praises of any kind. CEO's word regarding workplace freedom and perks should not be taken seriously. Perks are non-existent, the cost is considered in the smallest of things, even tea coffee is not served nor any machine is provided, no access to even a printer. No parking space even for your bike. Your contract is a joke, it is interpreted at will and notice period is changed at will. In one case an employee was threatened of legal action when he decided not to serve notice period and was ready to pay out. In all the company should better be avoided it is not run professionally but like a personal shop of CEO. The attrition is so bad that mostly all the new joiners after 2017 have left. Not even leads and directors have stayed. Many of them do not even wait for another offer before resigning so bad is the air.
