Pros

Heat Enterprise is a competitive product and equal to other tier one offerings. The ability to have software on premise or in-house is flexible

Cons

The image however is not good in the marketplace and the price model is unworkable for large sites. This forces the company to discount heavily and that process is cumbersome. The integration of purchased modules from Germany and UK has been poorly executed and is full of restrictions. The company has significantly failed to reach it's sales targets for several years, is very poor in servicing its large user base. The sales model of hire and burn leads to a destabilised work force and heavy staff cut backs in March 2013 has flattened staff morale.

Pros

Nice friendly team with many well meaning capable colleagues and associates

Cons

Hopeless management so bad you can not believe that the board supported them for so long whilst they trashed the organisation and bled the acquisitions dry whilst self promoting themselves.

Some Great People; Bad Place to Work

Pros

The people who have remained are mainly excellent; good personalities, good skill sets, good sense of company community.

Cons

There is no career growth at FR, at all. CEO Jon Temple is an awful little man who humiliates people at corporate meetings for fun. They sell into a market that is saturated with their technology capabilities, with no unique differentiators, other than price and service. ServiceNow is the CEOs #1 competitor, and he thinks they can take SNow on without spending money on sales, marketing, or great product development.
