Pros

No experience needed. You work as a team. Learn something new everyday. Flexible-ish. Your team becomes your family. Amazing raises. Start at $10 in training for 5wks, go to $12.85 for 4months, 3wks. Then $13.93. From there, it's $1.00 raise every 6 months. I'm at $18/hr after 2yrs. Oppurtunity to change schedules at times.

Cons

It's like high school all over again. They play favorites. If you're not part of the "In Crowd", don't expect to move up. 1 person can do something and it's fine, another person can do the SAME thing and get written up or even fired for it. Can be a hostile work environment. Training teaches you NOTHING you actually need on the floor. They allow some users (callers) to verbally abuse us and if you mention it in the ticket and someone from the firm sees it, Intelliteach steps in and will NOT LET you speak to the firm. Not many opportunities to move up. A LOT of rule changes and attendance policy changes.

Pros

Great coworkers (if they are on your level) and versatile hours. Free cake sometimes.

Cons

No one listens to you, and if they do they take credit for your ideas, the clients can be incredibly abusive, the company refuses to let you excel unless you get certified in all of microsoft office, the pay is far below industry standard, dropped benefits package from a great one to the bare minimum.

Pros

Decent insurance and benefits. Some downtime on the job, depending on day and shift. (Also depends on whether or not enough you're the only person on the floor.) Personal browsing allowed (after you finish all. Lax dress code. LGBTQ friendly.

Cons

Draconian attendance policy. Sparse and irregular training. Pay rate does not reach appropriate level until one year of employment. Must constantly absorb verbal abuse from busy lawyers who have no time and need to work on everything NOW. Rapid turnover, which leads to months of understaffed shifts. Third-party time management team frequently makes mistakes. Upper management and leader positions often filled by external applicants, which means that some managers have never taken calls, know nothing about IT, and can do nothing to help you. Silly incentive system that rewards employees with candy and snacks instead of actual bonuses. Triggers panic attacks, anxiety, depression, and suicidal tendencies. Oh, and if you work night shift - good luck. I worked alone on a Monday morning and had no lunch until 6 AM. We get none of the little parties or free lunches that the daywalkers receive.
