Pros

The team is amazing. Very talented and passionate. Cool clients. Some fun travel opportunities if you get to take them.

Cons

Owner is mean and controlling. It's his way or no way. Doesn't care about his team. Only himself. Very rude to people. Makes fun of those who aren't doing as well as he is. Comes across at first as a really nice guy and very likeable. He's a great schmoozer and is good at securing high level clients for the company. But once you get to know him, he's very rude, and can be disrespectful. He disregards the concerns of his staff. Most staff don't stay long here. A few do: the ones that the owner needs most because he caters to them. But the ones he feels are replaceable, he is mean, demeaning and just terrible to them.

Pros

The only pros are the team. They are a strong team of creatives who have an extensive knowledge base and can adapt to nearly any situation. The team is both helpful and very pleasant to work with.

Cons

The cons are the company. Working here has little to no work life balance and an inability to progress. The owner operates as a tyrant, when performing tasks many employees feel as if they are walking on eggshells and are often berated for a lack of preparation with tasks they are unfamiliar with. With no HR department employees are subjected to many forms of harassment and intimidation leading to a very high turnaround. Budget is king and if it means sacrificing your health, family life and in some cases your freedom, it is still a requirement to get the job done for the client.

Pros

Employees are very creative and talented individuals. Get to work with clients such as the Michigan Minority Supplier Diversity Council, EY, DMC, GESTAMP, and lots of other corporations.

Cons

CEO values buying equipment over getting benefits to employees. CEO frequently uses slurs and ableist terms when communicating with employees. Disciplinary action is often the CEO screaming at employees in the common kitchen/dining area. Upper management is largely uninterested in incorporating employee ideas into projects and day-to-day business. Employees are expected to mind-read the CEOs every need and are disciplined if they can’t do it. Absolutely no Human Resources so all problems must be directed to the CEO personally. No work/life balance as all employees are expected to be on call at any time. High 12mo turnover rate for employees at the time of writing this review. CEO will be “friends” with you in order to get you to do things for him. CEO does not hold his word when making promises to employees, both in treatment and project details. CEO does not focus on management side of the business and largely delegates those tasks to administrate staff. CEO does not follow the rules he has set forth because “he’s the owner” but will discipline employees who make simple procedure mistakes. Employees wear multiple “hats” and perform job duties outside of their scope or capabilities.
