Pros

Before 2024, Fusion was a great place to work. They offered many opportunities for remote employees to connect socially and demonstrated genuine care for the success of their team members.

Cons

Employee relations at Fusion can be challenging. PS Management often relies on formal documentation over meaningful conversations with employees. They would rather avoid conflict and add a note to your HR file than coach the issue (Example - NG). Cliquish behavior within teams and limited interpersonal skills in PS management have negatively affected morale and eNPS scores.

Pros

Seemed to be pushing for diversity and inclusion, hosted panels where LGBT+ individuals could share stories.

Cons

I think everyone's experiences at a company can be different, but it is staggering how many stories I have shared with current and previous employees that are similar: -Overworking members of the team to the point where they have to cancel vacation plans because a project was mismanaged -blaming members working on projects for something that was poorly worded in the contract to the customer -"asking" employees to not fulfill contracts with customers because certain items were overpromised and they were trying to find a way out any way they could -the company went through layoffs and instead of laying off employees, they were PIP'd for the smallest infractions in order to find an excuse to fire them -an outside consultant was brought in to teach the upper management on how to PIP employees successfully without risking a lawsuit Overall I had a horrible experience during my time here. I spoke with several members after my departure, some at the company and some already gone, who experienced the same thing. It seemed to stem from upper management/executive level working to "trim the fat" after over hiring during covid because they wanted to seem profitable for the equity firm that was taking over. We were encouraged to put up 5* reviews on glassdoor because HR noticed we were starting to look bad. Since my departure, numerous upper management level employees and executives have since moved jobs elsewhere, probably noticing a sinking ship feeling. The company was poorly run, contracts were written on a whim with no idea of how much T&M would actually go into them. employees were encouraged to fudge their timesheets in order to make projects come in under budget. I think there are some great members who work here and mean well, but ultimately I think poor management coupled with disasterous decision making and company culture will run you out the door.

Pros

None. This is an organization that operates fraudulently, promotes passive-aggressive management styles, encourages bullying, proactively lies to spread false information, encourages favoritism and at every turn, failed to operate with any kind of accountability, honesty or with any kind of morality. Don't be fooled by all the happy reviews. These are created by employees at the behest of senior leadership in an attempt to hide what is really going on. I know that because I was encouraged (demanded) to leave a positive review to balance out the negative ones.

Cons

Before I was hired officially, they ran a background check, I completed the I-9 form, and while employed, I paid taxes. After my departure from this organization, I was unable to collect unemployment because Fusion claims I entered my social security number incorrectly into the HR system. The multiple attempts my state made to correct the issue went unanswered. I received an email from Fusion stating I had entered an incorrect SS number, they were not to blame. How exactly was I able to pass a background check and pay taxes under a false SS number? I was fired on the same day I was told I would be approved for short term disability. I was filing this claim due to the toxicity and horrific working conditions. My doctor signed all the paperwork and provided medical evidence of the physical effects I was experiencing due to the toxic and harmful working conditions. On this call, Fusion claimed they had evidence that I was employed full time elsewhere, which they did not, because I didn't have another job! My bank statements and my calendar prove their accusation false. I was a mentor on the side, which my manager and many other employees were aware of. That role never interfered with my role at Fusion. Anything internally discussed amongst other employees is hearsay until proven true. Not only did Fusion not provide evidence to prove their accusation, they refused me the chance to address those accusations. On that final call, when I raised my hand to say something, I was told, "You are not allowed to speak and we are not taking any questions." As someone with a disability, they led me to believe that call would be final checks to ensure everything was filed correctly for my short term disability claim. Instead, I was blindsided, falsely accused, silenced, and left with no recourse. I couldn't even collect unemployment! I will not back down from my pursuit of holding Fusion Risk Management accountable for their egregious, discriminatory and defamation actions. This company is corrupt in every sense of the word and you would be wise to steer clear.
