Cons

ALL TRUTH FusionQB, rebranded from Nexplatform, sister company of HyperQB, run by 3 headless management who have no interest in managing the company projects. Their only concern is making sales and gaining some short-term profit. Here I list all the shortcomings of my time working here: 1. Management Direction FusionQB's management has absolutely no sense of direction. They have no interest in growing the team or building a good company reputation. They will pitch various related projects in the market without considering whether there are enough resources or helping-hands from the team internally. One of the tactics they often use to gain trust from customers is to lie to them that the team has 20+ developers. But the sad truth is that the company has never had more than 10 developers at the same time in its entire history. 2. Appreciation from the management / Work-life Balance No matter how much effort you put in, you will never be appreciated by management. They will take everything for granted and expect you to work harder. Working overtime or during weekends are very common here, and they even expect you to come to the office on weekends or stay up late to catch up on projects. 3. Project Managing Skill Unrealistic schedule. Management will promise customers unrealistic timelines to deliver systems. In the end, the whole team had to work overtime into the late night (or early morning) just to complete those unqualified projects (happens in every projects). If we were close to a deadline, management would notify us to write non-working code into the system and let users report bugs so we could get more development time. 4. Code structure / standard "Tsunami, The T is silent". FusionQB, the code standard is silent. For every project they have here, you can write whatever you want and check in into the master branch to get it deployed to production the next day. No one will review your code, you can do whatever you want. There is always a saying that in this company that even schoolwork is better than the projects here. 5. Lack of support When you really need help, almost no one is there for you. People in the highest technical roles have overall low technical knowledge, and they will lead you in completely wrong directions. 6. Tendency to oversell themselves with big client names In the interview, the interviewer will sell themselves by showing you all the products they have and all the customers using their system. But at the end of the day, how many customers are actually happy with the system? Since I joined this company, I have received complaints from customers/users almost every day (including weekends of course). 7. Overloaded workload Each developer is a PIC for 1 or 2 projects and has to work on 2 other projects at the same time. 8. Uncertain Payroll The date of salary payment is uncertain, you may get your salary on 6th of this month and on 10th for next month. It is considered lucky to get the pay slip before the 7th of every month. 9. Get ready to use your own laptop FusionQB will not provide you with a laptop to work on. FusionQB, HyperQB, Nexplatform all have the same founders and work together in a co-working space. You can search Nexplatform and see all reviews. If you don't want to ruin your career, think carefully before joining this company. This company has over 30 turnovers last year (with a team of less than 25).

Pros

1. If you like the cafe office environment, then this is the go-to place for you. 2. Nobody monitor you, no guidance, it's very flexible, feel free to perform R&D here. 3. It's very flexible, you can come office late and nobody will give a damn, there's no strict rules mentioning that you cannot come office late.

Cons

Honest Review 1. If you prefer to work in a cafe environment, a shared office then this would be a go-to place for you, as they runs their office on a co-working space environment. 2. There's no proper structure of development phase here, during interview, they told you that the team runs on Scrum practices, but eventually there's none. 3. There's no proper guidance or anyone to lead you here as almost everyone are freshly joined and even the seniors joined couple more months longer than you only. 4. Their advertising/marketing level are great, so from the outside you barely can see how bad or how poor the company is being managed. Yes indeed, they do have strong clients but whose knows what is happening exactly internally. 5. Code-base is being reused for many project if it's similar, it would just be copied over and useless schema is not being removed, there's no proper *base-template*, everything is copied from the existing project, so it's *normal* to see unrelated stuff in your existing project. 6. No proper standard being implemented, as the CTO is very busy with other things that there's no time to setup proper standard such as Code Review, CI/CD or even any strucutre. 7. The CTO / Management will just let their staff to be the defender, if there's anything wrong, they'll just push everything to the staff rather than bearing it together with the staff. 8. They care about the revenue over than whether the staff able to do it or not, they'll just shorten the project timeline in half, so that they can receive the $$ as soon as possible. 9. All the reviews written are absolutely correct, the employer has been running for 7 years, and I would say they are still in start-up state, everything is poorly managed. 10. They even allow the junior/fresh dev to perform design on the database, architecture, api. Basically everything and let the unreviewed things with client, the CTO is not paying any attention into the project at all Think twice before joining this company, as you may see there's a lot of employee here, but majority of them are intern! The dev here has been changed for many batches, the longest dev are only 2 years experience in this company.

Pros

If want to know the darkside of the startup, this is your chance. Signup for one months, then runaway before the probation. It should be enough to unveil the ugliness of their business

Cons

I'm lazy to compile a long statement, but please read those bad review, every single one of them are truth. You can justify that base on the way of writing and sentiments. If you are not a dumb, those compliments is more like a bot generated text without emotional.
