I worked at Fuze full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good compensation package and benefits. Product improving in leaps and bounds. Mostly good people to work with.

    Cons

Where to start... Don't trust the goals/KPI's set by management, they won't be there in a year given the revolving door. New CEO/CFO/Board members let alone the massive changes in sales mgr/director level over 2016/17. Burning through funding (look at the huge repetitive rounds) leaving options likely worthless. Sales process is designed for million dollar deals and doesn't suit a territory with smaller opportunities.

Massively crowded market with Microsoft and Cisco close to establishing a dominant position similar to AWS/Microsoft in IAAS cloud.

    Advice to Management

Sell to a bigger fish ASAP. At a minimum take the hand cuffs off the sales team and trust them to decide when to POC much earlier in the sales cycle.

I have been working at Fuze full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Working for a company that is developing so quickly is great. The vision we have as a company for our customers is work from anywhere, anytime. Which is also reflected in the employment policy. If we want to work from home every week a couple of days, its fine. This gives me a better way to manage my work-life balance.

    Cons

Changing environment; that should require flexibility and a specific mindset.
Growing rapidly; there is lot's to do.

    Pros

Great experience for those starting their career since you have an opportunity to work on several, cross-functional projects. The executive team takes feedback from the frontlines seriously and has put in many great improvements throughout the past 12 months including more communication and transparency. They also rolled out a new women's network to connect people across the company and champion leadership, growth, and development opportunities.

    Cons

Some areas of the company still need catching up but overall we are making progress.

    Advice to Management

Keep focusing on the long term goals!

I have been working at Fuze full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Excellent product, highly collaborative culture, large market opportunity. Fuze is taking on Microsoft and Cisco -- and winning big deals around the world. Strong leadership team that brings lots of experience and maturity. This is a great place to work and build a career. People here at Fuze are very responsive, helpful, smart and fun to work with.

    Cons

Benefits are good (not great); some agile, smaller competitors (like Slack and Zoom) are a threat.

    Advice to Management

Continue to scale the business; invest in manager training; remain innovative and disruptive against a backdrop of slow-moving giant market leaders (like Microsoft, Cisco and Avaya).

I have been working at Fuze full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1) The flexibility to personalize where you work and the hours you work
    2) Trust starting at the top with the CEO that work is not a place you go but rather what you do
    3) The technology (using the Fuze platform) to get your best work done regardless of where you choose to do that work or the hours you choose to be most productive

    Cons

Things move at a very fast pace. This is not the place for you if you are looking to coast or fly under the radar.

    Advice to Management

Don't stop pushing the boundaries of what will drive employee engagement as people's beliefs and expectations for work continue to change. You can stand out as one of the great companies preparing for the future of work.

    Pros

    - free lunch one day per week
    - depends on how you look at it, work isn't challenging

    Cons

    - for a small company too much politics
    - no long term workable plan, management isn't that great.
