I worked at Fuze full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good compensation package and benefits. Product improving in leaps and bounds. Mostly good people to work with.

    Cons

Where to start... Don't trust the goals/KPI's set by management, they won't be there in a year given the revolving door. New CEO/CFO/Board members let alone the massive changes in sales mgr/director level over 2016/17. Burning through funding (look at the huge repetitive rounds) leaving options likely worthless. Sales process is designed for million dollar deals and doesn't suit a territory with smaller opportunities.

Massively crowded market with Microsoft and Cisco close to establishing a dominant position similar to AWS/Microsoft in IAAS cloud.

    Advice to Management

Sell to a bigger fish ASAP. At a minimum take the hand cuffs off the sales team and trust them to decide when to POC much earlier in the sales cycle.

    Cons

*Doesn't have the name recognition as its primary competitors and reluctant to spend the marketing dollars to even the playing field. Feel like Fuze is a best kept secret.

I have been working at Fuze full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Company culture is something the executives place a lot of time and effort into because they are very interested in employee retention. The team I work with is the best I've ever worked with in my career and they make the difference. No matter what challenge I face, I can get through it because I have the support of my team. I also love the company's philosophy of being able to work from anywhere, anytime. It's not just a company tagline for our customers, but the way the company is managed. Management team also very clearly communicates with the whole company on goals, happenings, pretty much anything. There is a lot of transparency here.

    Cons

We are a fast growing company and there are the typical growing pains that go with it like prioritizing on what will drive the business and hiring the right people.

    Advice to Management

Continue working with each department on the corporate goals and priorities and ensure that everyone is working towards them.

I have been working at Fuze full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Learn new things every day and develop new skills very quickly
     - Work with incredibly talented and supportive people
     - Leadership care about their employees - great culture
     - There is definitely room for progression (promotions, new departments etc)
     - The technology is great - I would want to use it in a future company too
     - The executive team are easily accessible - even for a causal conversation in the kitchen
     - Ability to work from anywhere is a great benefit

    Cons

    - I don't really have many cons - every company has areas they can improve on but overall, Fuze is great!
     - The Reading office could be better: snacks, events, upkeep are not inline with Boston HQ. The split of 2 UK offices makes it hard to get everyone together.

    Pros

Challenging and exciting work/projects, amazing leadership support, great drive and vision from senior management, an excellent place to grow, develop and succeed, good benefits, fantastic work/life balance, our team feels more like a family than just colleagues.

    Cons

Main UK HQ is in Reading. A London office would encourage more in-person interaction.

    Advice to Management

More soft skills development would be welcome. Also, as so many employees work from home, a gym membership would be a perfect added benefit.

    * Good coworkers and atmosphere
    * Compensation is about average for the industry.

    * Can at times be stressful environment.

I have been working at Fuze full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Great work from home policy in many positions
    - Great esprit de corps
    - Lots of growth opportunity within, with no corrosive politics (that I’ve seen)

    Cons

A trade off of having flexible geographic workplace is that many teams rarely meet in person. Depending on your role, it may be up to you to create social engagement and rapport in general.

There have been some growing pains along the way as the company has stepped up to becoming a more mature organization in realms of product, process, and culture. Overall though, such changes have been in the right direction.
