Pros

good work and life balance.

Cons

the Outbound sales team just started in Oct Mid. we all were doing great, getting demos for AEs. We all got appreciated the same. When Covid-19 hit, the management just kicked us all out saying we didn't bring anything to the company and they cant waste any more money on us on a zoom call and just gave us one day to resign or we will be terminated with a bad mark. The outbound team started in Oct mid, the CEO expected us to make $1M revenue in just 5 months. It was the stupidest target ever.

Pros

1. Simple product 2. Nothing new to learn 3. Young and energetic outside of work

Cons

1. They post job opening as Customer Success Manager on Instahyre but they offer you the role as “Customer Success Specialist” 2. When you mention this concern, they say it will be taken care of when u leave the company but the reality is different. 3. They will not change the designation as promised over mail as well 4. The Team is very goal oriented individually but do not have the skills to empower others and let them thrive in the role. I do not think anyone with this attitude will succeed in industries like Ed tech or Gaming where you have to constantly come up with new ideas to engage your customers 5. From a career standpoint, not a good option. If you have ideas, try somewhere else. Here you will be stuck in a limbo..

Fyle Response

We treat everyone with respect at Fyle, even if they no longer work here. Unfortunately, we are being forced to respond. We will stick to the facts. * The reviewer did have not have any experience in Customer Success, which was a strong requirement for the role * Therefore, we offered a different title. This was mentioned explicitly in the job letter and we had a discussion about it before the reviewer joined * The understanding was that if the reviewer performed well, we will revisit the title in 6 months. There was no promise of changing title "when leaving the company" (this makes no sense, anyway) * The reviewer joined in March 2019 * The reviewer lasted less than 3 months at Fyle (Jun 2019) * The review was posted May 2020 * We have not had any other departures from our excellent CS team in about 2 years
