Pros

There are many good employees waiting for sound leadership. "Executive team" works very hard to convince the employees that the future is bright.

Cons

Working at G&D has a feeling of desperation with no job security and zero culture. The "executive team" lacks actual executives with leadership skills. All long term, experienced managers have been systematically eliminated. Turnover of salaried and management positions is extremely high.

Pros

No positive things to mention. President is a horrible leader, and believes this Growth strategy is going to fix the company. Only way to fix company is for him to leave

Cons

Horrible benefits, expensive medical, non existent training...feels and looks like a prison.

Pros

Sadly, I can no longer think of any. There used to be some great people there, but they've all been fired, laid off, or replaced. People are scared, fed up, and jumping ship - if they aren't already looking for other jobs. Upper management is out of touch, unrealistic, and driving the company into the ground.

Cons

Unfortunately, working conditions are a nightmare and continue to grow increasingly worse with each passing day. Employee morale is at an all time low and is only getting worse as more and more changes are rolled out. None of them are realistic or show any type of employee investment. First, the 'leadership' at this company is constantly announcing one awful change after another. Anytime any sort of formal announcement is made everyone panics. After laying off hundreds of people, the few that were left were slammed with a 5% pay cut and had the 401k match taken away, and did I mention a year long pay freeze? One can argue that upper management had one too, but the people it hit the most were the people that were already doing all of the hard work and made next to nothing. To make matters worse, the out of touch leadership soon after announced a new dress code. This irked a lot of people and made them even more upset; they had already gotten a pay cut with no hopes for raises (not that most people there are paid decently to begin with) and then they were told they would need to possibly purchase fancier clothes to wear to work. It didn't stop there. They also announced 'Employee Feedback' where anyone could log on to the website and ask questions about the changes going on. Half the people are too scared to use it because they fear they will be tracked and they will be punished for asking real questions, while the other half actually do ask and get flowery, nonsense answers that don't really answer much of anything. Overall this was a huge dissappointment. Most employees are fed up and angry and are ready to leave because things don't appear to be getting any better at ANY facility- instead, they are steadily getting worse. The company appears unorganized and scrambling to cover it's mistakes. Unfortunately, the damage has already been done and the downward spiral is difficult to witness for people who have been there for years.
