      Pros

      Comfortable work environment, co-workers are a nice group of people, located in downtown Kitchener.

      Cons

      No patience. No opportunity to learn or grow on the job. No documentation or help provided. Other developers don't show up until almost noon. Management reviewed the resumes of my eventual replacement right in front of me. Management still has some growing up to do.

      The company overall was very disorganized. They worked on a multi-year project only to recently drop it due to issues that were somehow unforeseen. There was no real management, and the founder of the company was very overbearing, while also not having any real business aptitude. The product they work on is super sketchy, and they lie to new employees about how the company runs in order to make it seem less so. They won’t even tell you what the product is without making you sign an NDA. They fired two dev managers in a year (plus multiple developers), which shows that their hiring process is seriously lacking. The company has no real goals or mission and just seems really confused overall. It doesn’t help that they don’t fully communicate any plans they do have to their employees. It’s easy to find another company in Kitchener with much more fulfilling work, a better product, and knows what they’re doing.
