I have been working at GEICO

    Pros

its quite a good job i enjoy what i do and my co-workers are quite pleasant, hours are negotiable and theres room for movement in the schedule.

    Cons

sometimes the hours can be quite long and move over the night so it makes for some readjustment, i'd recommend it more for someone who doesn't have too many responsibilities

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at GEICO full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great training program, full cafeteria and gym onsite. Quick to adapt to industry changes. Management is very understanding. On the TCR LEVEL, you get ownership of claims. Can move up quickly.

    Cons

Desks too close together adjusters are on top of eachother. Too many metrics makes it hard to focus on actually doing the job and helping the customer when you’re being graded on every little thing. Can become monotonous being on the phones all day on the CSR level.

I have been working at GEICO full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Geico creates a good environment to be a customer service rep, good training, management and coworkers that care, all the proper equipment and facilities. If you enjoy talking to people on the phone all day I definitely recommend it

    Cons

It can be very fast paced because the rules around insurance change so much. Your schedule will also change a lot since they need it staffed basically 24/7. Personally, talking all day gives me a headache. Management is there to help but also very strict and turnover is higher than I expected.
