Cons

Management, hours, bonuses, no one seems to care in management, in fact they are hardly there

Pros

if your lucky, you can go to the kitchen for a cup of coffee without manager over your shoulder

Cons

Management doesn't know how to address employee concerns. Micromanaging to the point where you can't go to the kitchen for a bite Expect to work 12-16hr days M-F plus weekend. Engineers go through education to obtain degrees and certificates to work normal 8hr days. If they wanted to work 12-16hrs, they would be at the factory. No work/life balance. Most employees don't show up for company events because the co-workers they met at the previous event is already gone. High turnover rate

Pros

You'll get some useful experience. The medical benefits are better than average.

Cons

GJ gets their foot in the door with audits, but their ultimate goal is to have their clients rebuild their existing eDiscovery environment from ground up. Why? Because GJ will make a lot of money off the hardware purchased as they are a Dell re-seller. GJ has even went as far as to tell clients "we can't help you unless you let us rebuild the environment from the ground up". Most people would consider this recommendation a conflict of interest. Some would even say it sounds like something a con-artist would push. Real consultants improve existing infrastructure, people, and technologies. GJ easily cons non-technical people into thinking GJ's way hardware solution is the way and the only way. GJ has threatened to "walk" when clients wouldn't take their recommendations. If you enjoy feeling unethical, you'll enjoy working for GJ. If you sign the non-compete, it will be extremely hard for you to work anywhere else in the eDiscovery industry. GJ will not take on a new client until they sign a contract stating promising they CANNOT and will NOT hire former or current GJ employees. This isn't something most companies require to be signed. It is a red flag. In other words GJ will most likely be your last stop in the eDiscovery industry. You will most likely have to take a pay cut when you change industries as most of your eDiscovery related skills are going to be worthless to most employers.
