      Everything about this company is a joke, especially the management.

      Pros

      They have a Christmas party but even that they're trying to scrap because they're in mass debt

      This is by far the worst company I have ever worked for. Not only are you not valued in the slightest, they also promise bonuses but set unrealistic targets so you don't actually ever receive them. Basic salary with nothing on top. However the worst thing about the company and something which should be considered when applying for a role.. the management of it is an absolute disgrace, they have made over 30 employees redundant, yet continue to employ more and more people to fill these roles (pretty sure this is illegal and against employee rights?), then lay more and more people off because they're in debt and can't afford to keep them! The fact i even had to give 1 star is being generous for this company.

      We are disappointed that you feel this way but there are a number of inaccuracies within your review that must be addressed: • We made the decision, in line with Government Covid-19 policies/guidance that it is not possible to hold our annual Christmas Party, and this is not related to the financial position of the business. • We value everyone within the business, without our team there simply is no business. Our team enjoy competitive salaries with additional benefits and a clear bonus structure which has been in place for a number of years. • George F. White like many businesses have had to make difficult decisions in 2020 and there have been some redundancies but the number is significantly less than that stated in your review and indeed in the latter part of 2020 we have seen encouraging signs and begun expanding the team.

      Top heavy with massive staff turnover

      There are no pros to working at this company

      Cons

      The staff turnover at this company is ridiculous. I see another review has brought this up and they have tried to blame Covid. The mass redundancies actually started around 2 years before. They have a top heavy structure and look after those at the top whilst the rest of the staff are completely disposable. This company does absolutely nothing to inspire loyalty amongst its employees.
