Pros

-Some great people scattered over different departments. -Paid on time, everytime.

Cons

-Secret layoffs, but then new hires are hired for less and are promoted to the laid-off person's former position. -Too many inexperienced employees running the departments. -This company loves to add Vice Presidents (some who have such minimal experience compared to other people who are or were in their department (before the layoffs began in late 2022) while laying off good people and making everyone left take on more work. -It's impossible to take time off and actually take time off based on how client accounts are setup and how the departments run. -For early twenty-somethings, this could be a good fit, but you have to suck up to try to get on the good side of the CEO and the VPs. It's very obnoxious frat boy at GRo.

Horrible! Avoid This Place

Pros

Clients were nice for the most part.

Cons

GR0 is a tough place to work, and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it. The workload is nonstop, and while the pay is decent, it doesn’t make up for the insane hours you have to put in just to keep up. The company is constantly changing, but not in a good way—job roles shift without warning, there’s no real growth plan, and leadership is basically nonexistent. When things go wrong, they’re quick to point fingers instead of taking responsibility. Client churn is high due to everyone being spread thin and over promising at the sales stage. On top of that, there are some seriously questionable people with disturbing backgrounds in high-up positions. The co-founders bring their friends and family as ‘clients’ without billing them and this is not considered under the MRR you are managing. If you’re not willing to play dirty or step on people to get ahead, this place will drain you. Think twice before joining.

Honest Review - Pros and Cons

Pros

- Unlimited PTO - Flexible work hours - Paid Holidays (You get more than the average company) - Pretty good pay (depending on where you live)

Cons

Leadership - They regularly tell you one thing and go completely against it almost immediately. For example, they tell you to need to be doing the job for about a year or so to be considered for promotion then a few weeks later someone they express more favoritism towards gets promoted a second time in 3 months. No consistency.  There’s always constant talk of improvements with staffing, setting client expectations, and procedures. Nothing ends up changing.  Favoritism - there’s a clear inner circle. Those who are in it will be promoted faster and exceptions to the rules. Regardless if they’re actually good at their job or not.  Lack of Training/Development- technically there is a team for that but it’s basically someone sending you links and telling you to figure it out.  Long working hours - work/life balance is heavily promoted but rarely practices it.  Illegitimate/Sketchy business practices - Sales regularly promise certain results to earn a client's business. With SEO, you will know you cannot do that but it regularly happens.  Another thing I’ve experienced is we’ve legitimately been asked to click on client competitors’ Google Ads to mess with their daily budget. Kill their impression share. INFLATED REVIEWS:- This one is most important in my opinion. Leadership asks you to fill out 5-star reviews for the company.  That’s why you see so many short 5-star reviews. Some of the things said are true like unlimited PTO, but there’s a lot of fluff on top of that. It’s very misleading for someone who’s trying to pursue a job there. They’ll see the inflated rating and think to believe its legitimacy. Then they’ll get hired and most likely can experience almost the complete opposite of what’s expressed in the reviews. For example, the items stated above. So take the high reviews with a grain of salt.  In addition, the company has all of these “awards”. I would also take that with a grain of salt. A lot of these awards are basically surveys turned in by employees that leadership asks you to fill out. They are then submitted to these award organizations and awarded based on the high percentages of the surveys filled out. So like the Glassdoor reviews, they are inflated.  Turnover - high turnover. Especially in client services. In the last 4-5 months alone or so, I saw the company lose 3 team leads/managers. All of whom were with the company 6 months or less….All women.
